CEO Drilling
Founded in early 2013, CEO Drilling is built on over a decade of experience. CEO Drilling is a licensed drilling Company with the Government of Ethiopia. Founder, Mengesha WoldeGeberal, brings together a dynamic team of highly qualified drillers, safety officers, mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, agricultural engineers, consultants, hydrologists, and international partners. All of Mengesha's credentials are issued by the Government of Canada.
CEO Drilling brings the latest technology, safety standards, and a staff with 20+ years of drilling experience. Our drillers are certified and also have their First Aid and CPR. Our drillers have also passed a strict drilling policies and procedures exam. All our drillers and field workers are required to wear personal protective gear at all times. CEO Drilling also recognizes that environmental protection is often overlooked in Ethiopia—but we intend to change this.
Mengesha Seyoum Woldegeberal
Operations and Business Director (CEO / Founder)
Mengesha Woldegeberal is a professional in the mining and drilling sector with over 17 years of experience in the mining and energy industry. He has filled various roles in mining operations, drilling management, HSE management, consulting and project development within Canada, Europe, and Ethiopia.
Mengesha was the Field Drilling and Safety Manager for MDH Engineering Solutions and later for SNC Lavalin. He spent the early part of his career in Fort McMurray, starting out as a Firefighter before joining the operation side of oil and gas drilling. He worked in the oil and gas industry for 9 years before branching into the Potash sector in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Mengesha is the the Founder and CEO of CEO Tec-Soultions, an investment consulting group in Canada, CEO Drilling, and CEO Group in East Africa.
